Rick Owens + Moncler insieme a Londra per un’installazione

Moncler chiude la London Fashion week con una serie di eventi firmati “The Art of Genius” in collaborazione, in pieno stile Genius, con alcuni brand come Palm Angels, Bembury, Louis Vuitton.

“The art of design” presentata dall’iconoclasta Rick Owens, pur essendo fuori dal programma Genius, interpreta Moncler con un esperienza introspettiva di design dando la possibilità agli spettatori (due alla volta) da qui una fila chilometrica, di entrare all’interno di una capsula in acciaio insonorizzato per visionare la collezione Rick Owens x Moncler dalle forme allungate, con bomber, piumini e cappotti dalle trapuntature luminose e dalla predominanza del nero e giallo tie-dye, isolandosi completamente dall’after party che all’esterno continuava imperterrito.

SAINT LAURENT: nuova collab con Jennifer Cardini e la label Dischi Autunno

Nata e cresciuta in Francia sviluppa la sua estetica musicale e personale all’interno dei club di Parigi e questa collaborazione risulta essere il coronamento di questo percorso. Jennifer ha tratto da Saint Laurent negli anni linfa alla propria creatività, dal design iconico della linea di profumi Rive Gauche, alle campagne di Guy Bourdin, fino al guardaroba di Catherine Deneuve in “The Hunger”; nasce cosi un edizione limitata dell’album di Curses “Incarnadine”.

Com’è stato il debutto di Daniel Lee da Burberry?

Uno dei debutti più attesi della London Fashion Week, per alcuni non sorprendente. Lee forte dal percorso in Bottega Veneta non intraprende un percorso facile e decide di cancellare la memoria recente del brand affondando le radici di questo inizio nei codici identificativi della storica casa di moda e nelle sottoculture giovanili. Omaggia la cultura britannica con le rose inglesi, la stampa a quadri, forti riferimenti alla misura stilistica della Westwood, viene ridisegnato il logo e decide di non farsi appoggiare dalle top di riferimento attuali dal forte impatto social come le sorelle Hadid o Kendal prediligendo star emergenti e collaboratori come i musicisti Skepta, Jamie XX e Vegyn. Burial cura la colonna sonora della sfilata con una sequenza di 5 brani “Truant”,“Young Death”, “Exokind”, “Shell Of Light” e “Homeless”

Rick Owens + Moncler together in London for an installation

Moncler closes London Fashion week with a series of events signed “The Art of Genius” in collaboration, in true Genius style, with some brands such as Palm Angels, Bembury, Louis Vuitton.

“The art of design” presented by the iconoclast Rick Owens, while being outside the Genius programme, interprets Moncler with an introspective design experience giving spectators (two at a time) the chance to to enter inside a soundproof steel capsule to view the Rick Owens x Moncler collection of elongated shapes, with bomber jackets, down jackets and coats with luminous quilting and predominance of black and yellow tie-dye, completely isolating themselves from the after party that continued undaunted outside.

SAINT LAURENT: new collaboration with Jennifer Cardini and the Dischi Autunno label

Born and raised in France, she developed her musical and personal aesthetic within the clubs of Paris, and this collaboration is the crowning achievement of this journey. Jennifer has drawn from Saint Laurent over the years the sap of her own creativity, from the iconic design of the Rive Gauche perfume line, to Guy Bourdin’s campaigns, to Catherine Deneuve’s wardrobe in ‘The Hunger’; thus a limited edition of Curses’ album ‘Incarnadine’ was born.

How was Daniel Lee’s debut at Burberry?

One of the most eagerly awaited debuts of London Fashion Week, not surprising for some.

Lee, strong from his time at Bottega Veneta, does not take an easy path and decides to erase the brand’s recent memory by sinking the roots of this beginning into the historic fashion house’s identifying codes and youth subcultures. He pays homage to British culture with English roses, the plaid print, strong references to Westwood’s stylistic measure, the logo is redesigned and he decides not to be supported by the current top names with a strong social impact such as the Hadid sisters or Kendal, preferring emerging stars and collaborators such as the musicians Skepta, Jamie XX and Vegyn.

Burial takes care of the fashion show’s soundtrack with a sequence of five tracks “Truant”, “Young Death”, “Exokind”, “Shell Of Light” and “Homeless”.
